Babies need a lot of supplementary food as they grow up. This is because they have been on only their mother’s milk. Though exclusive breast feeding is very important, as the babies grow, they need more energy and the diet is supplemented with various foods. The mothers should prepare various recipes because the child may like only certain foods.

Babies usually like all recipes that have fruit in them. Fruit punch is a very important and all children should be given this because fruits are natural foods and help the child to have good health. In fact there are many health benefits is the child is fed fruit punch. There are various recipes for fruit punch available and the mother should make it regularly for the child.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fruits

The one cup of water is boiled and to this boiling water the sugar is added and the sugar will dissolve in the water. The sugar solution is then taken off the flame. To this, add the lemon juice, orange juice and also the pine apple juice that are ready. The solution will become a little bit thicker. This is poured into a punch cup. Ice cubes can be added if the child can take cold drinks, if not, the ice cubes need not be added. Some fruit slices will make the fruit punch great and the baby will love drinking it.
